Alex Greenspan
President | Digital Matrix
Alex Greenspan is a veteran technologist of the optical disc manufacturing industry who helped pioneer some of the earliest CD-stamper equipment by adapting the electroplating process used in vinyl record manufacturing, a market that all but disappeared by the late 1980s.
With the current growing popularity of vinyl as a specialty audio medium, much of the newer manufacturing techniques can now be applied in the production of high-performance analog media. Alex is a globally recognized expert in the field of electroplating for multi-media disc manufacturing and has published articles on the subject.
He is the founder of Digital Matrix, based in New York, which has provided micro-technology equipment and services to some of the world’s largest companies and research institutes, as well as an array of media manufacturers in dozens of countries.
