Chad Brown entered the world of vinyl manufacturing in 2001 as the owner of greater Toronto-area pressing plant, ACME Vinyl. After closing his plant to pursue a role in a medical device startup which engineered MRI equipment, he soon found himself eager to re-enter the vinyl industry. However, this time he planned to utilize his engineering background and love for innovation. Chad alongside the team at Viryl Technologies created and brought to market the world’s first modern, fully automatic record press. A machine born out of frustration from his days of using and maintaining old machinery. Viryl Technologies’ signature product, the WarmTone, has become one of the most reliable and productive machines in the industry, and is being used in existing and new pressing plants all over the world. Since its inception and under Chad’s direction Viryl Technologies has grown to 20+ employees and is proud to work with clients across North America, Europe, and Asia.
