Jim is the founder of Record Collector News and a lifelong record collector and a native Los Angeles, During a publishing career that has spanned over thirty years, he has worked at a number of notable publications, including LA Weekly, Los Angeles New Times and the Silicon Valley Community Newspapers. He has produced numerous record swap meets and you can see him digging through the bins of some record store most days.

Record Collector News is targeted at the music collector. RCN publisher seven times per year. There are over 100 advertisers per issue and RCN is distributed at over 400 independent record stores in California, Oregon, Washington State, NYC, Chicago, New York and beyond.
