JJ Golden graduated from SAE technology college in London in 1995. He started as a full time mastering engineer at Golden Mastering in 1998.

There he began his career mastering for CD, digital, and cutting lacquers for vinyl on the Neumann VMS-70 cutting lathe.

In 2011 he bought his own VMS-70 lathe which allowed the studio to have two cutting rooms to keep up with the growing demand.
Since the beginning, he has attracted a loyal domestic and international clientele.
