Mona Dehghan is the Senior Director of Marketing and Project Management at Mute and a DJ on WFMU.  She got her start in the music industry volunteering for her college radio station, KALX in Berkeley which led to her getting a masters in Radio Broadcasting at Goldsmiths College in London.  From there she became the Operations Manager for KALX, then Director of Radio Promotions at Sub Pop Records, Communications Manager at Domino Records, Senior Publicist at Tell All Your Friends, and Director of Radio at Girlie Action, before ending up at Mute (a label she has been a fan of since she was a child).  She also owns her own label, Mon Amie, which recently released The Longest Day – A Benefit Album for the Alzheimer’s Association, a tribute to her father who lives with the disease.
