STUDIO TWO “THE BIG HALL BY THE WALL”
Early-bird rates end Friday 21 March
CONFERENCE PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE
DON’T MISS OUT
After two successful events in the U.S., Making Vinyl comes to Europe for the first time its B2B conference celebrating vinyl’s global rebirth on May 3 in Meisteraal in the same physical space where David Bowie recorded “Heroes,” and Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, U2, R.E.M., and countless other major artists recorded LPs elsewhere in the building at Hansa Studios.
Attended by first 300 and then 350 people respectively from 16 countries, the initial two conferences featured top executives from the world’s top pressing plants, as well as newcomers in the market, and other professionals throughout the vinyl value chain, including mastering, plating, packaging, raw materials suppliers and machinery vendors.
MEDIA-TECH kicks off the event on May 2 with the “Physical Media World,” a half-day conference focused on CD’s, Cassettes, and other music distribution formats.
Not only can you get one great price to attend both events, but the earlier you register, the more you save. Take advantage of Early Pricing through March 21st and attend both conferences at one amazingly low price!

VENUE: MEISTERSAAL
THE BIG HALL BY THE WALL
The same way the vinyl format rose like a phoenix from the ashes, Meistersaal’s recent reemergence as a majestic cultural hall parallel to the former Berlin Wall exudes a rich musical history that hit a golden era circa 1976-1993 when it was known as Hansa Studio 2.
The famous acoustics and ambiance of the master chamber on the building’s second floor struck a chord with such rock musicians as David Bowie, who wrote and recorded “Heroes” right there in the studio, which the likes of Depeche Mode, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and U2, among countless others, also tapped for its sound reproduction aura.
The floors below and above the Meisteraal previously occupied by two other Hansa recording studios are once again being used for music production.
