From Memphis to Haarlem: Continuing the global vinyl conversation
Memphis/ Haarlem/ Braunschweig, June 5, 2025 – Making Vinyl just wrapped up its latest event in Memphis, where industry professionals came together to discuss the state of the vinyl business. From June 2-4, the Renasant Convention Center hosted panels and plenty of networking focused on vinyl record manufacturing, distribution, and new technologies.
Next up: Europe. Making Vinyl returns to Haarlem, the Netherlands, on September 24-26, 2025. The Philharmonie (PHIL) will once again serve as the venue, bringing people from across the vinyl supply chain together to share ideas and learn from industry experts.
“It was great to see everyone in Memphis and hear what’s happening across the industry,” said Bryan Ekus, President of Making Vinyl. “Now we turn to Europe, which always brings new perspectives and topics into the conversation.”
European Conference Director Andreas Kohl adds: “Being part of the Memphis edition has energized me even more. We’re nearly ready with our European program, and our goal remains clear: to bring the right people to the table. Whether it’s innovation, standards, or sustainability – this is where minds meet, problems get tackled, and solutions move forward. If you’ve got something to say in the vinyl space, this is your platform.”
Held just ahead of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, the conference also ties into the broader vinyl culture, connecting with artists, labels, engineers, retailers, and fans.
What to Expect at Making Vinyl Europe 2025:
