Our recent edition of Making Vinyl in Haarlem proved once again why this event is the beating heart of the vinyl manufacturing community. With workshops that kept audiences glued to their seats, panels that sparked real change, and a vibe that reminded us why we gather in the first place, this was one for the books.
Highlights from the Conference
Workshops that wouldn’t end (literally!)
The Making Vinyl Lab on Mastering, led by the incomparable Andreas ‘Lupo’ Lubich from Loop-O Mastering, became so engaging that when we tried to call time for lunch, participants demanded sandwiches be brought in so the discussion could continue. That energy and passion set the tone for the entire event.
Standout Speakers
- Tom Moran ( Technology & Sustainability Consultant) brought sharp insights and an unmatched didactic style, giving fresh perspectives that left us eager for more collaborations ahead.
- Piper Payne (Physical Music Products) embodied curiosity and care, challenging the industry with her “Why not?” approach while sharing deep technical knowledge and solutions.
Sustainability at the Center
The dedicated Sustainability Summit presented rigorous data and outside perspectives that reshaped the narrative: our industry has real achievements to be proud of and the momentum to go further. The well-prepared speakers delivered sessions that were as inspiring as they were informative.
The Atmosphere
More than the programs or the schedule, the true highlight was the vibe. Conversations sparked everywhere—at sessions, over coffee, and into the evenings—forming collaborations and friendships that will carry our industry forward.
Community Spirit from the Start
From Wednesday’s opening drinks, the excitement was palpable. Guests arrived with curiosity, sometimes even skepticism, but quickly found themselves swept up in the energy of shared passion and gratitude for what vinyl represents.
Looking Ahead
Making Vinyl thrives not because of venues or schedules, but because of the people who show up, share openly, and care deeply about vinyl. Haarlem proved that spirit is alive and stronger than ever.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our speakers, our sponsors, and every single attendee who made this edition of Making Vinyl unforgettable. Together, we are shaping the future of vinyl.
