May 27–29, 2026 | Westin Old Town Alexandria, Virginia
Alexandria, VA — Making Vinyl, the world’s largest B2B conference dedicated to the vinyl record industry, will bring its U.S. edition to the Washington, DC area for the first time, taking place May 27–29, 2026, at the Westin Old Town Alexandria.
The event will convene global leaders from across the vinyl supply chain — including pressing plants, record labels, packaging specialists, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and retailers — for three days of forward-looking discussions, workshops, and curated networking.
Ali Miller, CEO of Furnace Record Pressing, welcomed the announcement and the opportunity to host the vinyl record industry in her hometown.
“We are thrilled to welcome Making Vinyl to the DC area — and to our hometown,” said Miller. “This region has a deep music culture and a growing vinyl community. We’re excited to open our doors and offer exclusive facility tours to registered Making Vinyl attendees, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at how records are made here at Furnace.”
The 2026 program will feature morning conference sessions and hands-on workshops focused on the most critical topics impacting companies that make, supply, and distribute vinyl records, including:
- Sustainability & circular manufacturing
- Supply chain resilience
- Packaging innovation
- Counterfeiting prevention
- Manufacturing technology
- Policy & regulatory developments
This year, Making Vinyl will also expand its guided networking offering through the Making Vinyl Connect program — a structured matchmaking platform designed to help attendees build meaningful business relationships through curated introductions and pre-scheduled meetings.
Bryan Ekus, Founder & President of Making Vinyl, explained why the DC region was selected:
“Washington, DC offers a unique intersection of policy, sustainability leadership, and global accessibility,” said Ekus. “With three international airports, direct rail access, and a walkable, transit-friendly location, Alexandria makes it incredibly convenient for our international attendees to travel in. This location also allows us to deepen conversations around regulation, trade, and sustainability — issues that directly impact our industry’s future.”
Registration for Making Vinyl USA 2026 will open soon, with early-bird pricing and sponsorship opportunities to be announced shortly.
